A new format for sustainable tourism in Cartagena, Colombia
Studio Lauria is working on the development project for an area of about 100 hectares located twenty kilometers north of Cartagena, on the splendid beach of the Colombian Caribbean.
The project includes a landscape enhancement intervention, the naturalization of a small freshwater body, the redevelopment of the road junction that connects Cartagena to Barranquilla and, above all, the design of a series of buildings covering over 26,000 square meters.
The real estate operation includes a small marina, a beach hotel, a small mall dedicated to local crafts and luxury products, a resort and about forty private homes with two different concepts of deep integration with the equatorial flora.
