AN ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP, FROM FLORENCE TO THE WORLD.
After 25 years of activity, Studio Lauria evolves and joins forces with FLOW to create a multidisciplinary collective of over thirty professionals, including architects, engineers, urban planners, and landscape experts. FLOW is a workshop offering reliability and expertise in delivering tailor-made projects.
We explore future scenarios by designing architecture and spaces defined by real sustainability, grounded in flexibility, accessibility, and durability.
From the heart of the Renaissance, we open up to a changing world, offering specialized expertise in restoration, heritage enhancement, the creation of new urban formats, and an architecture that is not only functional but that brings joy.
From our very first project – a temporary pavilion in Piazza della Signoria in Florence, later exhibited at the 2000 Venice Biennale – to our work in South America starting in 2009, and more recently, our architectural contributions to the evolving urban landscape of Tirana, Studio Lauria has consistently delivered tailor-made projects, each uniquely adapted to its specific context and needs.
We are a multidisciplinary team that integrates architecture and engineering, managing projects through every phase, from concept to construction. We work within a BIM environment and offer our clients proven problem-solving capabilities.
Our ability to operate in complex scenarios, to develop innovative architectural concepts, and to work in the restoration and enhancement of built heritage has led us, over the years, to collaborate with Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Leonardo Benevolo, Zaha Hadid Architects, and Kengo Kuma.
What defines us is our attention to detail, our tailor-made approach to design, and our ability to grasp a project’s complexity – communicating it to the client through a participatory process.
We don’t chase trends; instead, we aim to create buildings and spaces with strong character and a clear identity.
Our design work spans from the urban scale – where we imagine the city as a collective space that fosters relationships – to interiors, conceived as emotional environments rather than mere decoration.
We offer our clients solid expertise in restoration, developed with the passion of a practice that, in Florence, is in daily dialogue with the magnificence of the past.
The combined portfolio of our studio and FLOW includes significant projects in the fields of workplace design, museums, and sports facilities.
