The Frescoes of Case Martelli

Studio Lauria is coordinating the restoration project for Case Martelli, specifically for the portion under the jurisdiction of the Medicean Laurentian Library. This assignment was initiated by the studio as part of the Architectural Barrier Removal Plan. The restoration and enhancement project for Case Martelli is supported by a phase of studies and investigations. Recent stratigraphic studies, conducted by Daniela and Stefania Valentini, uncovered medieval wall decorations on the ground floor and an 18th-century fresco cycle on the second floor, attributed to Vincenzo Meucci (1694-1766).
